The rehiring of Vickie as SmackDown General Manager by McMahon was a shock after the infamous meltdown and unsuccessful attempt to rally the WWE Universe. This happened within a few weeks of her having was fired from Raw. Vickie adhered to the Authority's directives during the following weeks, but she found herself yet again on the receiving end of hot water. Vickie Guerrero was a participant in Roman Reigns against The Authority's requests to participate in The Authority's favored WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Qualifying Battle Royal after Stephanie McMahon spilled a toxic frozen tea (and maybe a little more) on Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero's career was at stake and she had to face Stephanie McMahon the following week in a strange encounter with a tub filled by a dark, sour-smelling fluid. After Stephanie won the match by tossing Vickie into the mess, she promptly removed Vickie Guerrero as the SmackDown Director. Vickie ended the match on a high note however by throwing an innocent Stephanie straight into the viscous chaos!
