Katheryn Katheryn Suzy SuzyKatheryn Winnick is a Canadian actress, producer and director. Winnick was the star of the Emmy-winning, critically acclaimed TV show Vikings which was produced by MGM, The History Channel, and won a number of accolades. Winnick's show was directed by 2020. She also starred in her role as the lead on Vikings. Entertainment Weekly declared that her character was "Lagertha might be the most exciting feminist character in the world of television." Her performance as the fiery shieldmaiden has garnered her several notable awards, including an award from the Women's Image Network award for the top Actress in the Drama Series in 2018, nominated for a Critic's Choice Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress in the Drama Series as well as a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Dramatic Actress (2014) also Most Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series as reflected in the Women's Image Network nominations in 2014, 2015, in 2016 and 2014, and a Golden Maple Award nomination for the top Actress in an TV Series. In addition to these prestigious awards, Katheryn received the Serendipity Film's Excellence Award at the Banff World Media Festival in 2015. Katheryn was nominated to serve as one of the jurors for the upcoming Cannes Series Festival.

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss and her mother is English.
